About me

I love telling a good story with moving images, and have done so since I was eleven years old. My passion lies with making documentaries. I’ve gathered experience and developed my skills in a wide range of challenging situations: I have been attacked by punks, have dodged Lebanon’s secret police, negotiated with paramilitaries, and remained composed in front of Nazi ideologues. I have literally bled for my films.

HOOKED: Getting High from pain

at the Nachtschatten Film Festival
Munich 22.06.2019

“As Aluna Ritual Columbia crew we definitely felt blessed by the chance to work with Three Eye Films. After a short talk, Shyam just did everything on his own and he came out short after the event with the best festival aftermovie we could ever imagine. Again one billion times thanks 🙏 “

“Shyam did an excellent job, beyond our expectations. Working with him was a pleasure. From the beginning to the end he was very communicative giving us very good ideas for the video. For sure we will hire Shyam again for future jobs.”

Luis Cruz-Larsen

Newtours Colombia

“I had nearly given up hope on salvaging my Ted talk as I’d made a ton of mistakes on stage. Shyam managed to achieve the impossible and use the footage to create a seamless final cut. I could not be happier with the outcome. He was professional and communicative throughout the whole process.”

Kush Duncan

“We really enjoyed working with Shyam on this music video. His work exceeded our expectations. The shooting was very well organised and straight forward.”

Franziska Kleinschmidt

“We commissioned Shyam to create a music video for our latest single Lay It Down and we are thrilled with the outcome. Shyam included a host of brilliantly shot footage of people, animals and landscapes taken from his time spent in Colombia, which when combined with our song lyrics guides the viewer through a story that is compelling and emotionally charged.  Would recommend him 100% and we look forward to work with him again in future.”
