About Shyam L. Jones

I’m a British/Austrian filmmaker and passionate about documentary film.

Since 2015 I have produced and directed numerous documentaries (ranging from 3 to 52 minutes), music videos and promotional videos. I have experience with finding, researching and developing narratives, organising production and shoots, working with budget constraints, conducting interviews, presenting, narrating, shooting, and editing videos. After experimenting with different formats I developed my personal style of storytelling.

Currently, I work as a freelance documentary director for Austrian TV channels.

I also offer freelance videography and editing services, especially for the ORF.

These experiences have strengthened my resolve, and made me confident that storytelling is what I can do best.
